  1. Let’s say you need a moving company
  2. You decide to do some searching on the Internet.
  3. You find some companies that sound familiar and you get a quote.
  4. The price sounds good, so you pick one and order a pickup of your household goods.
  5. The company arrives on time and packs up all your goods and puts them in the large moving van.
  6. Then the nightmare begins.

Hurricanes Flood Internet with Scams

We advise all computer and email users to be very careful if they receive unsolicited emails relating to these hurricanes, and to be careful to visit well known Internet sites. Zotob worm family picnic interrupted by authorities

Authorities in several countries have recently apprehended the creators of the Mytob, Zotob family of internet worms. And along the way they have disassembled a large, interrelated underground network of internet thieves.

These thieves would have loved to turn your computer into one of their treasure trove of zombied computers. Maybe they already did.
